Trevor Smith
Before joining, I had no energy, worked all hours, had no social life, and dreaded everything. My mental health was at an all-time low, and I was incredibly unhealthy and unfit. Exercise felt impossible. I gave all my time to others, leaving nothing for myself. My confidence and self-esteem were at their lowest.
Since starting, every aspect of my life has changed. At 45, I’m the fittest I’ve ever been. I went from a 40-inch waist to 32-34 inches, have abs for the first time, and love going to the gym.
I was initially apprehensive about having a Personal Coach, unsure how it worked. My ‘can’t do’ attitude has completely flipped to ‘can do/will do.’
I’d recommend this program to anyone looking for a better version of themselves. It’s the best decision I’ve ever made. It takes hard work, but the benefits far outweigh it. No regrets—just wish I’d started sooner!

Me and Corey have been working together 6 months. Before I started, I only went to the gym to complete classes and had such fear of going in on my own to do sessions.
Corey has helped me develop my confidence and I feel mentally much stronger to do things I never thought I would do. I have physically and mentally seen such a change. I am more happy and confident and more accountable for my choices. I now plan better and am more motivated.

I've been working with Corey for around 6 months now. During this time Corey has been brilliant, he's taught me alot and is always trying to cram as much as possible in the sessions we have.
I've gone from being a complete gym newbie to having a good understanding of what I'm doing and why I'm doing it.
Anytime I've been unsure or unhappy with an element of my training Corey has been quick to jump in and fix the issue.
Overall I honestly can't say anything bad about my time so far and would highly recommend Corey as a coach.
Always trying to cram more information and substance into each session and check in.

The communication you gave was amazing, every couple of days making sure I was on set for the week, anything I struggled with such as workouts you would help me on when we had sessions.
The workouts with your app were great as they videos with explanations.
Over the 4 months I dropped weight whilst becoming leaner especially around the ab section I noticed a change there.
I was struggling with a proper plan with eating and training meaning I was consistent.
Corey stripped it all back teaching me not only to plan workouts but also helped me with my diet in what I can and cannot eat in the day to reach my goals.”

I won’t lie—I was anxious and worried I’d be wasting my money if I couldn’t stick to it. I could go to the gym three times a week, but my diet wasn’t good enough. I’d lost two stone on my own but hit a wall.
Since joining, I’ve learned so much about personal development, taking care of myself, and improving every area of my mental health and life. I took control of my eating, started training four days a week, and truly turned things around. I lost another two stone and have never felt better or fitter!
At the start, I could barely run down the road without exhaustion. By the end, I completed my first 10K, ran the Bristol 10K, and now I’m training for two half marathons—maybe even a full one! I feel more confident and am enjoying life to the fullest again.

Before the program, I felt low and my self-esteem when it came to my body was dead in the mud. since training with/under corey and his guidance I’ve gained so much confidence in the gym and ventured to parts of it I’d never have set foot in at the start.
I feel way better about myself, I feel leaner and closer to my physical goals & my confidence is starting to go back up! when I started I was so worried and hesitant about going into the free weight section of the gym and doing exercises there alone but corey has taught me so much and I feel comfortable in that section of the gym now.

When I first started the program I was eating loads of junk food, and had a lack of sleep my mood was also over the place, and was very confident about joining the gym.
I have achieved getting my health back on track thanks to this program, and now being with this place for a year I feel so much better my food was better in preparing food preps, my sleep has improved a lot and I joined the gym and made friends there as well,

Before joining the program, I was in a really dark place—just days before, I had been in the hospital after attempting to take my own life. I could not have been in a worse place.
The biggest thing I’ve achieved is stability. Corey helped me do more than just get fitter—he helped me balance my work with my health and improve my overall happiness. I’m now happier with the way I look, back to my job, and more hopeful for the future.
I just feel happier now. I’m not the greatest at sticking to the program—I often forget to track my calories—but the support is always there. You don’t need to be perfect to see massive results.
Money was definitely my biggest concern. I worried about affording the program with other outgoings, but once I stopped spending on eating out and drinking too much, the costs balanced themselves out.
I’d absolutely recommend this program. It doesn’t just help with the gym; it helps you balance your day-to-day life..

Before joining, I felt uncomfortable in my clothes and skin. My uniform was tight, and I was embarrassed. I felt sluggish, out of control, and struggled with unhealthy habits. I wanted sustainable change instead of yo-yoing between obsessing over scales and instant gratification.

Before joining, I felt constantly exhausted and had little energy for unforeseen circumstances. Due to tiredness, I comfort-ate and drank too much caffeine. I didn’t like how my clothes fit but was reluctant to buy new ones for my expanding size.
Over the last 16 weeks, I’ve lost 4.8kg, sleep an hour more daily, and reduced my caffeine intake to two cups. I still enjoy chocolate and treats but in better moderation. My clothes now fit better, so I haven’t needed to buy new ones.
I feel fitter, stronger, healthier, and more rested. I’ve been reminded of the importance of looking after myself to be more effective in all aspects of life.
My biggest concern before joining was the cost. I tried going it alone for a long time with no progress. Corey’s expertise, guidance, and accountability helped me get unstuck, and I can honestly say it’s been money well spent.
I would definitely recommend the program. In fact, my husband and one of my closest friends joined based on my recommendation, and they’re also seeing the results they want.

Before the program, I wasn’t confident in the gym—even classes felt intimidating.
I’ve achieved a lot. I now go to the gym on my own, and while I still have anxious days, I’ve learned it’s normal. Once I’m there, it’s fine—everyone’s there for the same reason. I feel much more confident. Even without massive weight loss, I feel comfortable in my body because I know what I’m doing is working. My goal was confidence rather than weight loss, and I’m really happy with where I’m at. The gym now gives me a burst of happiness—if I’m having a down day, a workout always makes me feel better.

Before I joined C Shift in Shape, I was happy and confident, but after joining, that happiness and confidence have grown massively, to the point that I am not at all self-conscious about hitting the gym and am more comfortable in my own body.
Since joining the programme, I have achieved a level of fitness that, due to my sedentary job for 18 months, I couldn’t have without the help of Corey and the programme. I have pushed myself to eat more conscientiously and push my body further, which has resulted in me lifting weights using muscles I didn’t even know I had!
I feel much more at ease with my body and am gaining muscle across the board, increasing my self-confidence and belief in myself when tackling physical challenges.
The main hesitation for me was the cost. I am a self-employed musician, and I know how expensive lessons/tutelage can be, but Corey reassured me of the gains I would see both physically and mentally before we started on our journey.

Before joining, I wanted to get fitter, stronger, and slimmer but didn’t know where to start or have the confidence to begin.
In four months, I’ve massively increased my strength—squatting 45kg, deadlifting 45kg, and shoulder pressing 9kg. I’ve lost 10cm off my waist, 8cm off my hips, and 5kg. I feel healthier, happier, fitter, and stronger. I now have much more confidence in my workouts, nutrition, and lifestyle. I joined Corey’s team after feeling unsupported by a previous coach. I have gone through numerous coaches / PTs in the past but never stuck with them or had the level of support I have now.
I have achieved better results with Corey in 4 months than I have in years with others. My confidence in the gym has improved, and I no longer feel the need to hide away in a corner. Whilst I still have a way to go on my fitness journey, I know I’ll get there with the help of Corey.
Nothing is too much trouble for him, and the plans are detailed and easy to follow. he is always able to accommodate exercises you dislike or are unable to do if you have back issues like me. Before joining the program, I was pretty unhappy with myself, image-wise. I have achieved weight loss and inch loss.
I feel much happier in my own skin now. I can now fit into many of my "old" clothes and have gone down in size in my work uniform.
Before joining, I wasn't convinced that I'd achieve what I had without any face-to-face coaching, but I was able to still achieve everything wanted to.
So I would recommend this program.

I would recommend the programme. I started off very unhappy with my physical appearance. I was over 15 stone, and in just a short amount of time, I was under 14 stone.
I haven't been at this weight in a VERY long time. Just by changing a few things in my life, Corey has guided me on a very positive path. My relationship with food and alcohol has changed, and I am conscious about my diet and my regular exercise routine and I will carry that into my daily life.
My hesitations before joining were my budget and my lack of motivation. Finding the money to spend on yourself, if you can, is only a good thing.

I started training with Corey in April this year, I initially started with him because my sister had started PT in January, and was looking really good and I wanted to catch up.
This has been my first time with a PT, and Corey has not disappointed! I'm a person who can be hard on myself if I don't do 'enough', and Corey has taught me how to push where I can, allow myself grace where I can't do everything, and how to target the most important areas in busy weeks.
I have lost body fat, gained strength, and, most importantly, gained confidence in myself. I went to the beach yesterday and felt comfortable in my own skin (and in my bikini) without feeling the need to cover up. I'm not self-conscious of my photo being taken at the 'wrong' angle, and most importantly, I feel happy and healthy.
I've gone from struggling through one game of touch rugby in the winter, to being able to play 3 games back to back and I've even started at a proper rugby club because I know I have the strength and fitness to carry me through. goes here

Before joining the program, my confidence was low, and I hated how I looked in the mirror or in photos. I ran the occasional parkrun and walked my dog, but I didn’t feel healthy and knew I needed to make a change for my physical and mental health.
Three months after meeting Corey, I’ve lost almost 2.5 stone and am still losing weight. I haven’t been this weight in over 7 years. I went from never stepping into the free weight section to feeling confident and progressing each week. I now look forward to the gym instead of avoiding it.
I feel more confident, healthier, and stronger both mentally and physically. I’m proud of the person I see in the mirror. Corey’s coaching, healthier eating, and weight training have improved my running. I’m only 10 seconds off my parkrun PB from 2015 and confident I’ll break it soon.
